Multilingual education Years 7–8 French, German, English

Primary education is compliant with the Francophone Swiss Study Plan (PER -Plan d'Etudes Romand) and the digital Plan (PER Numérique -Plan d'Etudes Romand, Education Numérique).

With an awareness of research methods, students can easily access information, reformulate it and effectively apply it to their learning. By the end of Year 8, they will have developed critical thinking skills and demonstrate a high degree of independence in organising and managing their work.

Multilingual education

Focusing on multilingualism enables students to express themselves orally and in writing, and to follow academic courses in immersion.

In Year 7, Geography and Science are taught in German. A partnership with Trowse Primary School (Norfolk, UK) promotes cultural exchange, collaborative learning and social skills in English. Five remote activities are carried out during the year, followed by a week-long trip: shared school activities with Trowse Primary School, cultural visits and team-building activities at Bawdsey Manor.

In Year 8, Mathematics is taught in English, while the three weekly hours devoted to cross-curricular projects are taught in German.
