General conditions

Registration

Registrations are valid for a full school year (10 months), generally from September to June. An admission will be guaranteed once we have received the registration fee and the registration contract signed by all legal representatives, i.e. in principle both parents, regardless of their marital status and regardless of the child's age.

RENEWAL AND TERMINATION OF REGISTRATION

Registrations are automatically renewed from one year to the next throughout the school years (from Primary to the end of Higher Secondary).

An enrolment may be terminated by registered letter sent to Ecole Moser SA. at its registered address before February 15th.
An enrolment may be terminated before February 15th if the pupil’s/student’s results do not allow him/her to successfully progress to the next grade.

or at the end of the year. Illogical with February 15th??

In the event of termination of the contract after February 15th, the following late termination penalties are payable to Ecole Moser SA:
- In the event of termination of the contract received by Ecole Moser SA. between  February 15th  and June 1st for the following school year, a penalty worth three months' school fees is payable.
- In the event of termination of the contract received by Ecole Moser SA. after June 1st for the following school year, a penalty worth one semester's school fees is payable.

SCHOOLING

The legal representatives are jointly and severally liable for the payment of their child's school fees (including the penalties for late termination mentioned above) throughout the child's schooling. When the child reaches the age of majority, the parents remain jointly and severally liable for the payment of the school fees (including the penalties for late termination mentioned above). The school fees are due every six months in advance. If the legal representatives wish to pay by other means, i.e. monthly, a surcharge of 2% will be applied. Ecole Moser SA. grants a discount of 20% for the third child and 50% for the fourth child (provided that all children are still regularly enrolled at Ecole Moser SA.)

ACTIVITIES / CAMPS / OUTINGS PACKAGE

As the activities are fully integrated in the school curriculum, no refund is possible if a pupil/student does not take part in any of the events.
For trips, the package includes transport, overnight stays, most meals, activities and supervision during the stay. The costs will be paid directly by the school to the various service providers when the bookings are made.
A package discount (partial refund) may be granted in the event a pupil/student does not participate in a trip and with the agreement of the Management. This must be announced at least one month prior to departure. In case of cancellation after this deadline, the fees cannot be refunded. We therefore advise you, if you have not already done so, to take out your own cancellation insurance.

Are not included in this package: "campus visits" organised in the Higher Secondary grades, the day organised by CICAD in Auschwitz, language exams (Cambridge, Trinity, IELTS, DELE, Goethe), workshops and other optional extras.

REGISTRATION TAX FEE

CHF 1,000 for each new student. (Former students who enrol their children are exempt from the tax fee).
In the event of cancellation after the signing of the enrolment contract, the tax fee of CHF 1,000 paid to the Ecole Moser SA. will not be refunded.

STUDENTS OF LEGAL AGE

In accordance with its mandate, Ecole Moser SA. will continue to cooperate and collaborate with the legal guardians until the end of the student's schooling, even after he/she has reached the age of 18. The school results are communicated to the legal representatives until the end of the studies.
